True Crime & Equines Guest Speaker Series
The True Crime & Equines Guest Speaker Series 2026 is a year-long, in-person experience at Crossroads Ranch—America’s only True Crime Horse Farm—where leaders in forensic science, criminal investigation, psychology, veterinary medicine, and equine behavior converge to teach in a way no traditional classroom ever could.
Each month, a nationally recognized expert takes you inside real cases and real investigative work: homicides, staged accidents, missing-person scenes, auction fraud, animal cruelty, and the often-overlooked crimes that unfold in equestrian culture. This series pulls back the curtain on how offenders think, how victims’ stories are told through evidence, and how animals can illuminate the truth hidden in criminal behavior.
This isn’t passive learning. Attendees move between the classroom and the field, with horses, dogs, and other ranch animals available for hands-on interaction and live demonstrations. It’s immersive, intimate, and deliberately limited in seating—creating a VIP environment that’s as exclusive as it is educational.
Topics include:
Victimology, offender behavior, and staging
Mounted and K9 search-and-rescue methodology
Crime scene documentation and bloodstain pattern principles
Veterinary forensics, injury recognition, and neglect cases
The psychology behind the horse world, auctions, and fraud
Designed for true crime aficionados and serious learners, this series fuses hard science with access to world-class experts—delivered inside a private, one-of-a-kind forensic equestrian venue.
